The location was just spot on, a lekker five-minute drive to the port. The brekkie was amazing, so many good options! The staff? Super friendly and always ready to help, felt like mates!

Some room layouts need a rethink, especially around the shower design which felt a bit off, and there were complaints about the restaurant's limited menu — it simply didn't match expectations for a place striving to be upscale. parking is ample, but the hotel could do better with clearer communication on dining hours. I ended up missing breakfast one morning.

my stay at the mercure was just a disaster. i specifically requested a high floor room for views, but instead, i was stuck on the 3rd floor with barely okay side views. how embarrassing—my dinner was ruined by cold, uncooked fish! i almost gave them a good review but just couldn't.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mercure Cherbourg Centre Port. The staff were exceptionally helpful and made me feel welcome right from check-in. The large room on the 6th floor offered stunning views over the harbor, which was simply lovely. Breakfast was delightful, with a variety of options that filled my morning nicely.

Had a fab time here, the room was huge and had this awesome view! The bar had some great snacks, and we enjoyed sitting there. Otherwise, it was a blast overall!

Nothing to fault.

The room was spacious, with a lovely balcony view that made our stay special, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden area and the sun terrace by the pool. The only downside was the bathroom could use some better cleaning, but it didn't ruin our experience at all! 😄
